The Boston Marathon can be a true test of one’s physicality, and Tim Sullivan is ready to give it his all, raising awareness for the visually impaired. After months of preparation and training, he is gearing up to run with others in this annual event. Tim is blind, so the Boston marathon will be extra challenging for him. With the help of Team With A Vision, Tim is able to meet the challenge with other visually impaired runners, raising funds for the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI).
Although this is Tim’s third marathon, this is the first time he is taking his skills to Boston. Inspired by running, he’s putting his endurance towards a noble cause: helping millions who are suffering from blindness and low vision. With diseases like Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Glaucoma on the rise, it’s now a critical time to raise awareness and turn the tide. With current research, and new low vision technology, a lot can be done, and we need to keep this momentum going. Learn more about Tim Sullivan, and Team With A Vision here:
